Adelaide Wenberg (pictured left) was taken from her family as a young child. She and her siblings belong to the so-called "stolen generations" in Australia where kids from Aboriginal families were forcibly removed from their homes. Australia's assimilation policy up until the 1970s considered indigenous culture to be inferior to that of mainstream white Australia.
