World in Progress: The plight of Australia's indigenous

This week marks the 50th anniversary of a referendum where people voted yes to finally include Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander people in the census. It's seen as a landmark decision in the struggle for equal rights for Australia's indigenous people who had long been considered second-class citizens. What change did the referendum bring and how are Aboriginal people faring today?
