Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty of manslaughter at a court in Pretoria. Judge Thokozile Masipa had previously cleared the paralympic athlete of more serious murder charges in his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp's death.

The paralympic star began his tearful testimony by apologizing to the family of Reeva Steenkamp for firing the shots that killed her. The athlete maintains he shot her by mistake, believing she was an intruder. He said he's still traumatized by the event and has difficulties sleeping.
