Israel hits Beirut residential block amid Hezbollah clashes

Israel is fighting a war on several fronts as the US‑Israel conflict with Iran begins to spill into neighbouring areas.

The Israel Defense Forces have confirmed overnight strikes on Hezbollah sites across Lebanon, and say the strikes in central Beirut and the southern suburbs targeted Hezbollah command centres and weapons depots.
