Rob Cameron

Rob Cameron is a journalist covering politics, business, culture and society in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Rob Cameron moved to Prague from London in 1993 and has worked as a TV, radio and online journalist for the past 25 years. He covers news and current affairs for a number of international broadcasters.

He has spent much of his career immersed in the region's complex and fascinating past. He has often focused on the Second World War and the Holocaust, reporting on the former Theresienstadt ghetto falling into ruin and uncovering Jewish tombstones used to cobble the streets of Prague.

He has interviewed WW2 veterans and former political prisoners, prime ministers and presidents, as well as religious leaders including the Dalai Lama.

In February 2022 he spent 10 days covering the refugee crisis unfolding on the Slovak-Ukrainian border.
