Severe floods have devastated parts of southern Thailand. In Hat Yai, a city of nearly half a million, homes, businesses, and hospitals are submerged, forcing residents to flee using boats and jetskis. Hospitals struggle to treat dozens of patients daily, while fatalities rise. Thousands seek refuge in makeshift shelters, and many have lost everything. As waters recede, the challenge ahead is rebuilding lives and livelihoods.
