A train passing through the city of Quetta in Pakistan's Balochistan province was struck by a vehicle that rammed into its side and exploded, overturning and setting two carriages ablaze. Many onboard were security personnel traveling with families to celebrate Eid.
The Balochistan Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the bombing. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the attack, the latest in ongoing insurgent violence in Balochistan.
