Will Kurdish groups work with US in the war against Iran?

Iran has lauched drones and missiles on Iraq's Kurdistan region. Speculation is growing that Kurdish militia groups in Iraq may be preparing to launch attacks across the border into Iran, possibly with US air support.

Iranian drone and missile strikes hit Erbil in Iraq's Kurdistan region, injuring civilians and fueling tensions. Tehran says it targeted anti‑Iran Kurdish groups, while regional leaders reject involvement in any escalation. A KDPI official claims Kurdish fighters are preparing for possible conflict, though the White House denies reports of US support. Kurdish militias continue training as Iran warns against "separatist" activity.
