本周四开始的欧盟财政预算特别峰会将就资金流向做出决定。

Die Fahnen Deutschlands, der Europäischen Union und Chinas wehen während der Eröffnungsfeier für die neue Frachtflugverbindung zwischen Deutschland und China am Montag (24.09.2007) in Parchim im Wind. Vom Flughafen Parchim soll eine regelmäßige Frachtverbindung nach China aufgebaut werden. Die Frachtfirma LinkGlobal hatte den defizitären Flugplatz südöstlich von Schwerin im Mai vom Landkreis gekauft und wird künftig regelmäßig auf der Route zwischen der zentralchinesischen Stadt Zhengzhou (Provinz Henan) und Parchim fliegen. Das Unternehmen hat eigenen Angaben zufolge rund 100 Millionen Euro für den Flughafen bezahlt. LinkGlobal ist das erste chinesische Unternehmen, das die Betriebserlaubnis für einen europäischen Flughafen erworben hat. Seit dem Beginn der Nato-Luftangriffe auf Jugoslawien haben die USA ihre Patrouillenflüge über den Flugverbotszonen im Irak drastisch eingeschränkt. 13 US-Jets, die an den Patrouillenflügen im Irak beteiligt waren, wurden von der Türkei nach Europa verlegt. Als Folge finden nun in der südlichen Flugverbotszone weniger, in der nördlichen überhaupt keine Kontrollen mehr statt.

China, the biggest supplier of solar power panels, quadrupled a domestic installation goal for solar energy projects to 21 gigawatts by 2015 to help absorb the excess supply of panels and support prices. The target includes 1 gigawatt of solar-thermal power plants, said Shi Lishan, deputy director of the administrations renewable energy division. China had planned 5 gigawatts of capacity in the five years through 2015 and 20 gigawatts by 2020.
